Importance of aeration

The Importance of Aeration

Core aeration loosens up the soil from last year as well as from the snow sitting on the grass for long periods of time. Compaction happens from watering, walking, playing and yes, mowing the grass.

• Aeration helps promotes looser soil so that roots can grow, air and water can get to the grass roots, and it helps break up heavy thatch layers as well as creating many more benefits for your lawn.
• We recommend aeration in the early fall with over seeding or early in the spring on an annual basis.

Everything mentioned are to be taken and used as recommendations and suggestions only of what to do and how to do lawn /yard maintenance.
